Getting There

From Leh, Pangong Lake is around 225 km, a journey that takes 5–6 hours via the scenic Chang La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. It’s recommended to acclimatize in Leh for at least a day to adjust to the high altitude before heading to Pangong.
