Borosil gains on getting nod to incorporate wholly owned subsidiary

Borosil is currently trading at Rs. 346.45, up by 5.90 points or 1.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 340.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 340.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 346.45 and Rs. 339.00 respectively. So far 2504 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 516.10 on 06-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 277.60 on 17-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 360.00 and Rs. 331.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4054.82 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.24% and 29.09% respectively.
Borosil has received approval for the incorporation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 with the name and style of ‘Stylenest India’. The proposed company will be engaged, inter alia, in the business of marketing and distribution of household and kitchenware products. The Management Committee of the Board of Directors, at its meeting held on March 25, 2025, has approved the same.
Borosil is engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of Scientific and Industrial Products (SIP) and Consumer Products (CP).
