Chalet Hotels soars on getting nod to acquire Seasons Hotels

Chalet Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 799.55, up by 10.90 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 788.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 795.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 801.30 and Rs. 772.55 respectively. So far 3549 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1080.00 on 01-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 690.00 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 819.15 and Rs. 767.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17527.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.27% and 3.44% respectively.

Chalet Hotels has secured approval for the acquisition of Seasons Hotels for a consideration of Rs 171 crore. Seasons Hotels owns a 144-room hotel - Inder Residency Resort & Spa, Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan. The hotel also has around 3 acres of lawn area, a large banqueting space, 2 restaurants, and a bar. The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on April 24, 2026 has approved the same. 

The acquisition is in line with the company’s expansion strategy to diversify the portfolio to include leisure properties spanning different geographies. The acquisition is expected to be completed by May 15, 2026 or such date as may be mutually agreed upon.
