GSP Crop Science soars on completing acquisition of balance 21% stake in GSP Intermediates
GSP Crop science is currently trading at Rs. 443.30, up by 11.80 points or 2.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 431.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 438.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 446.90 and Rs. 435.65 respectively. So far 1477 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 471.50 on 27-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 327.35 on 24-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 450.45 and Rs. 421.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2078.92 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.73%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.85% and 15.43% respectively.
GSP Crop Science has completed the acquisition of the balance 21% of equity stake i.e. 31,50,000 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each from the existing shareholder of GSP Intermediates (GIPL), a subsidiary of the Company. Consequent to the completion of aforesaid acquisition, the company's shareholding in GIPL has increased to 100% and GIPL has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
