Royal Orchid Hotels gains on selling Multi Hotels to Greenleaf Properties

Royal Orchid Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 373.55, up by 4.60 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 368.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 372.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 375.00 and Rs. 370.40 respectively. So far 833 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 594.10 on 02-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 321.25 on 12-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 375.00 and Rs. 333.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1024.47 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.16% and 26.78% respectively.

Royal Orchid Hotels (ROHL) has successfully executed an agreement for the sale of its subsidiary, Multi Hotels, to Greenleaf Properties, a Tanzania-based company on January 29, 2026. With this transaction, Multi Hotels has ceased to be a subsidiary of Royal Orchid Hotels with effect from January 29, 2026.

The divestment is in line with ROHL’s strategic focus on optimising its portfolio, strengthening its balance sheet, and sharpening its emphasis on core hospitality operations across key markets. Multi Hotels had not commenced commercial operations, and the sale allows the company to unlock value while reallocating resources towards higher-growth opportunities.

The total consideration (collectively) for the Sale of 100% shares of Multi Hotels is $3,412,500, which will be received in instalments within a period of 120 days from the date of execution of the agreement.
