Power Grid surges on getting nod to raise funds up to Rs 12,000 crore via bonds

Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 280.85, up by 0.65 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 280.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 281.95 and Rs. 274.70 respectively. So far 653032 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.95 on 07-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 172.24 on 21-Apr-2023.

Power Grid Corporation of India has received an approval for the raising of Bonds as Unsecured, Non-convertible, Non-cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable POWERGRID Bonds Issue(s) during FY 2024-25 in one or more tranches / series up to Rs 12,000 crore. The Committee of Directors for Bonds in their meeting held on April 17, 2024 has approved the same.
