Power Grid Corporation rises on getting nod to raise Rs 4,250 crore via Bonds

Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 322.15, up by 0.60 points or 0.19 % from its previous closing of Rs. 321.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 315.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 323.30 and Rs. 315.65 respectively. So far 120271 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 366.20 on 25-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 222.75 on 21-Dec-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 336.20 and Rs. 315.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 299386.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.15% and 3.51% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India has received approval for the raising of Bonds as Unsecured, Non-convertible, Non-cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable, POWERGRID Bonds - LXXX (80th) Issue upto Rs 4,250 crore on Private Placement basis. The ‘Committee of Directors for Bonds’ in their meeting held on December 18, 2024, has approved the same.
