Power Grid rises on emerging as successful bidder to establish Inter-State Transmission System
Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 282.35, up by 1.20 points or 0.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 281.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 283.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 283.80 and Rs. 281.40 respectively. So far 540444 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.80 on 27-Apr-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 250.05 on 02-Feb-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 287.95 and Rs. 279.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 262091.02 crore.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project namely ‘Augmentation at Bhadla-III, Ramgarh PS and Kanpur (PG)’ on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by the company on July 09, 2026. The project comprises augmentation and bay extension works at Bhadla-III S/S (Rajasthan), Ramgarh S/S (Rajasthan) and Kanpur S/S (Uttar Pradesh).
