NTPC Group touches 350 billion units power generation mark in FY 2024-25
NTPC Group achieved fastest ever 350 Billion Units (BU) generation on 20th January 2025 in FY 2024-25. This milestone is achieved in just 295 days, which is 11 days earlier as compared to the last financial year. In FY 2023-24, the company had crossed 350 BU generation on 31st January 2024.
This accomplishment reinforces NTPC's commitment to delivering reliable and affordable power to the Nation.
While NTPC has an installed capacity of 76.5 GW, 29.5 GW capacity including 9.6 GW Renewable capacity is under construction. The company is committed to achieve 60 GW of Renewable Energy capacity by 2032.
Along with power generation, NTPC has also ventured into various new business areas including e-mobility, battery storage, pumped hydro storage, Waste-to-Energy, Green Hydrogen solutions etc. and participated in the bidding for power distribution of Union Territories.
