Coromandel International gains on inaugurating advanced soil, leaf testing laboratory in Andhra Pradesh

Coromandel International is currently trading at Rs. 1858.60, up by 1.50 points or 0.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 1857.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1860.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1879.20 and Rs. 1857.60 respectively. So far 541 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1977.10 on 06-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1025.05 on 27-Feb-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1899.80 and Rs. 1804.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 54919.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.02% and 13.81% respectively.

Coromandel International has inaugurated an advanced Soil and Leaf Testing Laboratory at its plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Other advanced technologies present at the lab include spectrophotometers, microwave digesters, and near-infrared spectrometers, ensure comprehensive and precise testing capabilities. 

These tools provide farmers with valuable insights into soil health and nutrient availability, allowing them to adopt precise agricultural practices that optimize fertilizer usage. By addressing nutrient deficiencies, improving crop yields, and minimizing unnecessary input costs, the laboratory supports long-term soil health and sustainable agriculture.
