Zomato declines on reporting 57% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Zomato is currently trading at Rs. 217.05, down by 23.90 points or 9.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 240.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 223.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 227.05 and Rs. 210.15 respectively. So far 11275590 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 304.50 on 05-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 128.10 on 23-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 261.75 and Rs. 210.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 208399.32 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 67.82% and 32.18% stake in the company respectively.

Zomato has reported 28.65% rise in net profit at Rs 494 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to Rs 384 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 25.72% at Rs 2,537 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 2,018 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 57.25% fall in its net profit at Rs 59 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 138 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 61.31% at Rs 5,657 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 3,507 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
