FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 26 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17958.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 14076.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3882.05 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2239.34 crore with gross sales of Rs 721.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1517.45 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 43.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 1639.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1595.57 crore in hybrid segment.
