FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15021.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 15609.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 587.81 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1452.49 crore with gross sales of Rs 4932.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3479.88 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1704.16 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 671.68 crore, and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1104.04 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 47.37 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 24.05 crore in hybrid segment.
