Tata Motors surges on planning to increase commercial vehicles prices by up to 1%
Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 431.20, up by 7.10 points or 1.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 424.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 424.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 435.65 and Rs. 422.00 respectively. So far 126850 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 508.95 on 27-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 306.00 on 14-Nov-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 445.55 and Rs. 416.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 158893.95 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.56%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.08% and 20.35% respectively.
Tata Motors is all set to increase prices by up to 1% on its range of commercial vehicles, effective from October 01, 2026. The revision is being taken to offset the rise in commodity and other input costs. The increase will differ depending on the model and variant.
