Indian Hotels Company gains on signing new hotel in Mysuru

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 782.00, up by 2.45 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 779.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 779.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 782.50 and Rs. 776.45 respectively. So far 7836 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 571.15 on 19-Jul-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 785.75 and Rs. 769.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 111170.06 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.14% and 15.75% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new hotel in Mysuru. This greenfield project will be branded a Vivanta. Strategically located near the Hebbal Industrial Area, the 115-key Vivanta, Mysuru will feature an all-day dining restaurant, and a bar. Guests can also explore the fully equipped gym and swimming pool. The hotel will also offer meeting and event spaces, ideal for business conferences and social events.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 26 hotels in Karnataka including 12 under development.
