RRIL moves up on getting nod to acquire additional 25% stake in Sumati Spintex

RRIL is currently trading at Rs. 17.95, up by 0.12 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 17.83 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 18.10 and Rs. 17.15 respectively. So far 629 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 22.99 on 29-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.63 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 19.00 and Rs. 17.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 217.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.80%, while Non-Institutions held 29.20% stake in the company.

RRIL has received approval to additionally acquire up to 29,87,500 equity shares of Rs 10 each of Sumati Spintex (SSPL) from the existing shareholders, amount aggregating up to Rs 3.11 crore representing up to additionally 25% of the paid-up capital of Sumati Spintex. Further with the aforesaid acquisition the total shareholding of company in SSPL will reach 75%. The acquisition is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026. The objective of acquisition is to further strengthen greater control for better integration of business activities.

The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on July 11, 2026, has approved the same.
