FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 11 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14641.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 11135.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3506.39 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1150.70 crore with gross sales of Rs 628.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 521.85 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 518.45 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 29.22 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 32.62 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 38.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 26.61 crore in hybrid segment.
