Ashok Leyland moves up on raising Rs 300 crore through NCDs
Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 175.45, up by 0.95 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 174.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 173.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 176.30 and Rs. 171.90 respectively. So far 864821 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 215.35 on 11-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 115.00 on 11-Aug-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 178.80 and Rs. 171.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 103291.73 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.51% and 11.99% respectively.
Ashok Leyland has raised Rs 300 crore through allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The Fund Raising Committee of the Board of Directors has on August 10, 2026, allotted 30,000 unsecured, listed, rated, redeemable, non-cumulative, NCDs having face value of Rs 1,00,000 each.
The NCDs will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange of India. The NCDs carry a coupon rate of 7.50% per annum and have a tenure of 2 years. The NCDs are rated ‘AA+’ by ICRA with Stable outlook.
