Ashoka Buildcon soars on emerging as Lowest Bidder for two projects

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 256.90, up by 4.55 points or 1.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 252.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 245.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 259.50 and Rs. 244.20 respectively. So far 46194 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 271.90 on 26-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 88.97 on 14-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 267.70 and Rs. 244.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7084.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.95% and 18.56% respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L-1) for the Two Projects from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. The company has emerged as L1 for design and construction of creek bridge from Kolshet to Kalher. The quoted bid price of the said project is Rs 289.60 crore plus applicable GST.

The company has also has emerged as L1 for Design and Construction of Creek Bridge from Gaimukh to Payegaon. The quoted bid price of the said project is Rs 991.20 crore plus applicable GST. 

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis.
