Wipro surges on inking pact to acquire select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC

The scrip opened at Rs. 206.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 208.35 and Rs. 205.05 respectively. So far 799193 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 273.15 on 22-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 186.50 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 208.95 and Rs. 200.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 217689.13 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.60% and 8.49% respectively.
Wipro, through its subsidiaries, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC and its subsidiaries. The transaction is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.
The business acquisition will enable Wipro’s access to certain key clientele, their customer contracts as well as the related workforce, which will augment Wipro’s existing AI-powered, and Consulting-led application services capabilities, thus helping drive new growth opportunities.
