ITC declines on reporting 73% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 304.10, down by 3.90 points or 1.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 308.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 307.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 307.25 and Rs. 302.35 respectively. So far 658279 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 444.15 on 27-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 287.00 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 318.00 and Rs. 300.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 380833.19 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 84.02% and 15.98% stake in the company respectively.

ITC has reported 73.86% fall in its net profit at Rs 5,113.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 19,561.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 15.85% at Rs 22,347.42 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 19,289.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 72.69% fall in its net profit at Rs 5,387.97 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 19,727.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 16.13% at Rs 24,406.63 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 21,016.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 42.36% fall in its net profit at Rs 20,286.42 crore as compared to Rs 35,197.05 crore for the previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 9.31% at Rs 84,927.29 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 77,693.10 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
