Tejas Networks zooms on signing MoU with IIT Gandhinagar
Tejas Networks is currently trading at Rs. 414.90, up by 27.50 points or 7.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 387.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 410.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 419.60 and Rs. 402.00 respectively. So far 324285 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 914.50 on 22-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.10 on 27-Jan-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 433.00 and Rs. 382.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7370.07 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.70% and 35.84% respectively.
Tejas Networks has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) to catalyze innovation, research, and skill development in emerging telecom technologies. IIT Gandhinagar is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India and is known for delivering high-quality education and advancing cutting-edge research in various areas of science, engineering, design, management and humanities.
The MoU will promote strategic collaboration between the two organizations in advanced telecom research areas aligned with national priorities. As part of this MoU, the two organizations will also establish a telecom Center of Excellence (CoE) at IIT Gandhinagar that will serve as a platform for world-class training, innovation, and deployment-oriented learning in both wireline and wireless technologies.
