NMDC jumps on reporting 44% rise in iron ore production in June 2026

NMDC has registered a 44.26% rise in its iron ore production to 5.15 million tonnes (MT) in June 2026, compared with 3.57 MT produced in June last year. The company's iron ore sales increased by 11.17% to 3.98 MT in June 2026 from 3.58 MT in the corresponding month of the previous year.
The company's Chhattisgarh mines produced 3.58 MT of iron ore and recorded sales of 2.79 MT in June 2026, while its Karnataka mines produced 1.57 MT of iron ore and registered sales of 1.19 MT during the month.
