* L&T: L&T Energy Green Tech, a subsidiary of the company, has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary named Panipat Green Hydrogen.

* ASTRA MICROWAVE: The company will allot 20 lakh convertible warrants at ?864 each, totaling ?173.9 crore, on a preferential basis.

* BHARAT ELECTRONIC: The company secured additional orders worth ?528 crore for radars, EVMs, jammers, shelters, and control centres.

* NHPC: Commissioned Phase IV (53.57 MW) of the Karnisar Solar Project, taking total operational capacity to 214.28 MW out of the planned 300 MW.

* Slowdown in global growth to hurt India's domestic outputs: India's growth faces headwinds from global deceleration, potentially reducing domestic output by 30 bps for every 100 bps global slowdown. While the financial system remains resilient, stress is building in financial markets due to global spillovers. Inflation outlook is favorable, with expectations of aligning with the 4% target, supported by a manageable current account deficit.

* Higher policy transmission likely as share of floating rate loans rises: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) anticipates more effective monetary policy transmission due to the increasing share of floating rate loans, which reached 75.7% in March 2025. Increased inter-bank liquidity, through measures like open market operations and CRR reductions, further supports faster transmission to financial and credit markets.

* DEEP INDUSTRY: Approved the amalgamation of subsidiary Kandla Energy and Chemicals with the company.

* Trump admin calls India ‘strategic ally’ even as trade negotiators race against tariff deadline: US President Donald Trump has agreed to attend the next QUAD Summit in New Delhi after accepting an invite from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called India a “very strategic ally” and underlined Trump’s close ties with Modi. As External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visits the US for QUAD talks, negotiators from both sides push to seal a trade pact before fresh tariffs hit. Both sides say final hurdles remain but optimism stays high.
