FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7983.83 crore against gross selling of Rs 9835.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1851.41 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3391.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 4672.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1281.25 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 140.50 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 3.96 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1136.79 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 121.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 99.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 21.98 crore in hybrid segment.
