SpiceJet trades higher on settling dispute with Willis Lease Finance Corporation

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 45.22, up by 0.29 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.93 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 45.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.31 and Rs. 44.84 respectively. So far 7100683 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.90 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.91 on 18-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 49.40 and Rs. 44.61 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6398.45 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 29.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.30% and 47.57% respectively.
SpiceJet has settled its dispute with Willis Lease Finance Corporation. As part of the agreement, Willis Lease has withdrawn its insolvency case against the company. This settlement follows a series of strategic agreements the company has secured in recent months, supported by an Rs 3,000 crore infusion through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) in September 2024 and an additional Rs 294.09 crore infusion by promoter Ajay Singh. These funds have significantly strengthened the company’s financial position, facilitated the resolution of outstanding disputes, and allowed the airline to focus on operational growth.
