GMR Airports inches up despite reporting marginal decline in passenger traffic in July

GMR Airports reported a marginal year-on-year (Y-o-Y) increase in passenger traffic (excluding Cebu) to 93,12,459 in July 2026. Delhi Airport handled 60,27,269 passengers, marking a 3.7% Y-o-Y increase, while Hyderabad Airport recorded 22,23,647 passengers, reflecting a 9.6% Y-o-Y decline. Mopa (Goa) Airport registered 2,79,899 passengers, down 21.8% Y-o-Y during the month. Nagpur Airport handled 2,12,262 passengers, declining 3.8% Y-o-Y, while Medan (Indonesia) Airport handled 5,69,382 passengers, down 11.6% Y-o-Y. Cebu (Philippines) Airport handled 8,74,525 passengers, registering a 6.4% Y-o-Y decline.
For July 2026, aircraft movements (excluding Cebu) declined 1.5% Y-o-Y to 58,314. Of the total, Delhi Airport witnessed 36,212 aircraft movements, up 3.4% Y-o-Y, while Hyderabad saw 14,129 aircraft movements, down 16.9% Y-o-Y. Mopa (Goa) reported 2,086 aircraft movements, declining 22.7% Y-o-Y, while Nagpur Airport recorded 1,780 movements, down 0.3% Y-o-Y. Medan (Indonesia) recorded 4,107 aircraft movements, down 8.4% Y-o-Y, while Cebu (Philippines) Airport witnessed 6,636 aircraft movements, declining 12.6% Y-o-Y.
