FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 01 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 66219.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 71652.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5432.83 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2339.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 2618.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 278.78 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 18.49 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 69.79 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 227.48 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 289.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 47.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 242.19 crore in hybrid segment.
