SpiceJet shines on adding two Boeing 737 aircraft
SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 33.99, up by 1.49 points or 4.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 32.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 34.99 and Rs. 32.60 respectively. So far 17249554 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 61.99 on 19-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 28.13 on 08-Oct-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 35.50 and Rs. 30.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5207.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.30% and 53.24% respectively.
SpiceJet has added two Boeing 737 aircraft into its fleet, further strengthening its operational capability and capacity across key domestic and international routes. Both aircraft have completed all regulatory formalities and have already entered commercial service. They commenced operations on November 26 and November 29, respectively, and are currently deployed on key routes including Delhi-Bangkok, Ahmedabad-Dubai and Ahmedabad-Kolkata.
The addition comes at an important time for the airline as it continues to focus on improving connectivity, enhancing schedule reliability, and meeting rising passenger demand. With these inductions, SpiceJet aims to offer greater choice and flexibility to travellers during the peak travel season.
SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
