Smallcase Technologies introduces CASE Platforms as new corporate identity for its businesses

Smallcase Technologies today announced the introduction of CASE Platforms, its new corporate identity that will bring together its portfolio of investment products and platform businesses under one corporate identity. smallcase will continue to operate as it does today, as a distinct platform and brand under CASE Platforms

smallcase began by making it easier for individual investors to access professionally managed stock portfolios. Since then, the platform has expanded to enable more asset classes, while the company also built technology that powers investment experiences for over 250 wealth players and financial institutions. As the ‘smallcase’ name has become synonymous with the company’s model portfolios business, the introduction of CASE Platforms creates a distinct corporate identity for the broader group and its growing portfolio of businesses.

The introduction of CASE Platforms recognises the company’s growth over the last decade. Over the last few years, it has expanded into portfolio management with Windmill Capital, market information and tools with Tickertape, secured credit with creditcase, and asset management through its joint venture with Zerodha. CASE Platforms brings these businesses together as an ecosystem united by a common purpose: helping individual investors access the right products and tools to build better financial outcomes.

Alongside the introduction of the new identity, CASE Platforms will also become a co-sponsor to its mutual fund business, increasing its shareholding and rebranding the entity to ‘Zerodha CASE’. Launched in 2023 as a joint venture, Zerodha CASE Mutual Fund has taken a differentiated, direct-only approach focused on simple, transparent and accessible investment products. Over the last three years, the fund house has grown to manage Rs 17,500+ crore in assets serving ~12 lakh investors.

“We started with a simple idea of making investing more accessible. Since then, both the investing ecosystem and our ambitions have grown significantly. We built the smallcase brand for our model portfolios business, and that is where it will continue to belong. CASE Platforms is a new identity and name for the broader group, but our purpose remains the same — helping every Indian design better financial futures. As we grow and expand, we will keep building simple investment products and tools to enable investors to achieve their goals,” said Vasanth Kamath, Founder & CEO, CASE Platforms.
