"India's 10-year at 7.44% isn't a local story. It's an oil-and-Treasury shock spreading across emerging markets. Unless Brent retreats meaningfully from $112, I expect the benchmark to test 7.50–7.60% before year-end, with the RBI likely forced to hike in December. EM spreads have further to widen, and the pain will be uneven: oil importers and over-levered issuers will suffer most. That dispersion is the opportunity. A dollar-based, multi-strategy approach lets us own short-dated carry, short the vulnerable names, and offer private capital to strong businesses when public markets turn selective. Rising yields punish beta but reward selectivity."
