Indian Warship escorts LPG vessels, Pine Gas, Jag Vasant, after crossing Strait Hormuz in West Asia

Indian Navy’s warship escorted two vessels carrying LPG, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, on March 24. Pine Gas is carrying 45,000 MT LPG and is expected to arrive at New Mangalore port on March 27. Jag Vasant is carrying 47,600 MT LPG and is expected to arrive at Kandla port on March 26: Shipping Ministry. Pine Gas and Jag Vasant crossed the Strait of Hormuz, from where onwards they were escorted by the Indian Navy. The vessels also have 33 & 27 Indian seafarers onboard, respectively, returning to India safely. New Delhi is facing LPG shortage and energy challenge amid escalating war in West Asia.
