Joe Biden pardons turkeys in his last Thanksgiving as US President
US President Joe Biden issued pardons to two turkeys in an annual Thanksgiving tradition that dates back to the Truman administration. Peach and Blossom received their official pardon at a White House ceremony on November 25, becoming the last turkeys to be pardoned by the outgoing president. The Minnesota natives arrived in Washington, D.C. earlier this week and were given the five-star treatment at the upscale Willard InterContinental hotel ahead of their White House appearance.
