FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12212.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 16488.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4276.02 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1798.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 4529.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2731.36 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 233.29 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1146.90 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1817.75 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 40.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.15 crore in hybrid segment.
