Bharti Airtel gains on deploying additional sites in Kottayam, Pathanamthitta districts
Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 1292.85, up by 3.95 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 1288.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1301.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1305.90 and Rs. 1288.50 respectively. So far 114140 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1305.90 on 22-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 755.60 on 24-Apr-2023.

Bharti Airtel has deployed additional sites in Kottayam and Pathanamthitta district to densify its network. The network enhancement project was undertaken across 8 towns and 168 villages covering 6.4 lakh population base. The additional sites will further augment customer experience in this region on both voice and data connectivity.
Customers in the tehsils of Changanassery, Kanjirappally, Kottayam, Meenachil, Vaikom, Adoor, Konni, Kozhenchery, Mallappally, Ranni and Thiruvalla under Kottayam and Pathanamthitta district will directly benefit from this network enhancement. This expansion will enable seamless access to high-speed connectivity, a massive service for customers in rural & smaller towns in Kottayam and Pathanamthitta thereby ensuring reliable mobile network for work, study and entertainment. In this year alone, Airtel has doubled down on its commitment to the state and has invested additional capex to enhance its network connectivity for seamless experience on 4G, 5G, Broadband and Fiber.
