UNO Minda climbs on getting nod to expand capacity of Hosur Plant

UNO Minda is currently trading at Rs. 1060.10, up by 29.95 points or 2.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 1030.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1030.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1068.85 and Rs. 1020.00 respectively. So far 33299 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1252.85 on 02-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 605.05 on 13-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1068.85 and Rs. 936.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 60878.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.07% and 6.17% respectively.

UNO Minda’s Board has approved the expansion of existing Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu. The company will add 4000 MT Per Annum capacity in the existing capacity of 11000 MT Per Annum, along with the construction of a new shed for a new paint shop. The required investment of Rs 66 crore (excluding Rs 6.50 crore sustainable Capex) will be funded by 50% debt and 50% internal accrual.
