TPL Plastech zooms on commencing manufacturing operations of IBCs at Bhuj facility

TPL Plastech is currently trading at Rs. 82.50, up by 4.00 points or 5.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.84 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.91 and Rs. 79.78 respectively. So far 21674 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 89.80 on 06-Jul-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.09 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 83.91 and Rs. 76.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 643.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.51% and 24.62% respectively.

TPL Plastech, through its wholly owned subsidiary, has commenced operations for manufacturing of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) at Bhuj, Gujarat. The facility has an installed capacity of around 1,50,000 IBCs per annum with a projected additional revenue of around Rs 100 crore and is strategically located to strengthen the company’s manufacturing and service network in Gujarat, with a particular focus on customers in Bhuj, Kutch and the surrounding industrial regions.

In addition to IBCs, this unit manufactures industrial plastic drums (200 liters and above capacity), enabling the company to offer a broader range of industrial packaging solutions to customers in the region. The Bhuj location offers significant strategic advantages, including proximity to key customers and industrial clusters, reduced transportation distances, shorter delivery lead times, improved supply reliability and enhanced customer responsiveness.

The commencement of operations at the Bhuj facility further strengthens the company’s manufacturing footprint and reflects its continued commitment to expanding its IBC and industrial packaging business, while enhancing its ability to serve customers across key industrial and export-oriented markets in Gujarat and the wider Kutch region.
