Welspun Corp hits 52-week high on winning Rs 17,200 crore order for supply of pipes

Welspun Corp is currently trading at Rs. 2327.75, up by 323.65 points or 16.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 2004.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2171.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2343.35 and Rs. 2131.70 respectively. So far 8.07 lakh shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2,343.35 on 21-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 709.75 on 02-Feb-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2,343.35 and Rs. 1846.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 61,403.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.73%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.25% and 21.01% respectively.

Welspun Corp has secured the largest single order in its history, valued at around $1.8 billion (around Rs 17,200 crore), for the supply of pipes from its manufacturing facility in the United States of America. The order will be executed between FY 2028 & FY 2029.

This record-breaking order is the single largest ever awarded to the company and marks a defining step in its global growth trajectory, reaffirming its leadership position as a trusted, large-scale partner to the global energy and infrastructure sector. This order substantially strengthens the company's order book, enhances multi-year revenue visibility, and stands as a strong validation of the scale, quality, and execution capability of its operations. It also reflects deep and growing confidence, the major global energy players place in the company as a preferred partner for large, complex, mission-critical pipe infrastructure projects.

This landmark win is also a testimony of company's long-term strategy of expanding global manufacturing capacity and deepening relationships with marquee international clients. With this order, the company's global order book stands at a record $4.4 billion (around Rs 42,100 crore), the highest in its history.
