Ramco Industries rises on acquiring stake in M/s. The Ramco Cements
Ramco Industries is currently trading at Rs. 286.65, up by 2.65 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 288.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 292.15 and Rs. 285.20 respectively. So far 4071 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 310.00 on 12-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 192.05 on 14-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 298.00 and Rs. 276.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2493.16 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.14% and 40.05% respectively.
Ramco Industries has acquired 4,66,600 shares of M/s. The Ramco Cements (TRCL) for a consideration of Rs 41.95 crore. TRCL is engaged in the business of manufacture of Cement.
Earlier, the company had received an approval for investment by purchase of shares of M/s. Ramco Cements, for a value up to Rs 160 crore in one or more tranches, through Stock Exchanges.
