Adani Green Energy climbs as its arm inks PPAs with Solar Energy Corporation of India

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1840.80, up by 114.25 points or 6.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 1726.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1716.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1875.00 and Rs. 1661.20 respectively. So far 145947 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2016.00 on 27-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 715.00 on 15-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1982.00 and Rs. 1645.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 288309.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.53% and 24.10% respectively.

Adani Green Energy’s (AGEL) wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary -- Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Nine has entered into power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for supply of 534 MW of solar power projects. With execution of these PPAs, AGEL now has a total renewable energy project portfolio of 21,778 MWac capacity.

Adani Green Energy builds, owns and operates power plants powered by renewable sources of energy like solar and wind.
