Godrej Agrovet rises on forming strategic partnership with US-based Provivi

Godrej Agrovet is currently trading at Rs. 736.75, up by 6.05 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 730.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 745.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 745.35 and Rs. 730.00 respectively. So far 2276 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 877.85 on 15-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 475.70 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 745.35 and Rs. 689.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14085.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.35% and 12.62% respectively.

Godrej Agrovet (GAVL) has formed a strategic partnership with US-based Provivi to introduce sustainable pheromone-based pest control solutions for India's rice and corn farmers. Under the agreement, GAVL will distribute Provivi's YSB Eco-Dispenser for controlling yellow stem borer in rice crops. 

The company has also secured exclusive commercialisation rights in India for the FAW Eco-Dispenser, which targets fall armyworm in corn. The collaboration aims to leverage GAVL's extensive distribution network to deliver environmentally friendly pest management tools to millions of Indian farmers who depend on rice and corn cultivation.
