GMR Airports zooms on reporting 9% growth in passenger traffic during October 2024

GMR Airports is currently trading at Rs. 81.87, up by 3.82 points or 4.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 80.99 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 82.30 and Rs. 79.19 respectively. So far 984696 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 103.70 on 31-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.40 on 22-Nov-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 82.30 and Rs. 75.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 85094.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.27% and 14.67% respectively.

GMR Airports has reported 9% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth in passenger traffic to 10,756,824 in October 2024. Delhi Airport witnessed passenger traffic of 6,442,362, 6% Y-o-Y increase, followed by Hyderabad at 2,495,071 passengers, up 22% and Goa's MOPA at 353,792 passengers in October.

For the same period, aircraft movements grew 9% Y-o-Y to 71,598. Of the total, Delhi Airport witnessed 38,966 aircraft movements in October, while Hyderabad saw 17,553 aircraft movements.
