Railtel Corporation of India soars on bagging work order worth Rs 15.98 crore

Railtel Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 419.20, up by 12.60 points or 3.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 406.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 408.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 425.75 and Rs. 408.60 respectively. So far 55397 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 618.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 301.35 on 14-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 425.75 and Rs. 336.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13049.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.70% and 23.46% respectively.

Railtel Corporation of India has received the work order from Department of Education Samagra Shiksha for supply and service amounting to Rs 15.98 crore (Including Tax). The company has bagged order for establishing robotics, drone and atal tinkering labs in 160 Government schools across Himachal Pradesh under STARS. The said order is to be executed by November 30, 2025.
