M&M inches up on reporting 9% rise in overall auto sales in August

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 2784.05, up by 7.10 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 2776.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2777.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2796.10 and Rs. 2777.15 respectively. So far 5351 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3013.95 on 18-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1450.55 on 01-Nov-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2850.00 and Rs. 2741.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 345321.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.56%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 68.14% and 13.30% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 9 per cent rise in its overall auto sales (including exports) at 76,755 units for the month of August 2024 as compared to 70,350 units in the same month last year. The company’s passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market rose 16 per cent to 43,277 units in August 2024 as against 37,270 units in August last year. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 21092.
