Carysil surges on entering into agreement with Karran Inc

Carysil is currently trading at Rs. 518.35, up by 12.85 points or 2.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 505.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 510.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 531.85 and Rs. 508.35 respectively. So far 5367 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1036.00 on 01-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 486.65 on 17-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 547.50 and Rs. 493.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1467.81 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.37% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.97% and 45.65% respectively.
Carysil has entered into an agreement with Karran Inc., USA (Karran) for the supply of Quartz kitchen sinks to fulfill requirements of new major U.S. home retail chain. Carysil will dedicate the production of minimum capacity of 150,000 Quartz sinks per annum, commencing in May-2025 for this new customer. To support this commitment, initial investment of around $510,000 (around Rs 4.2 crore) in molds, machinery and utilities will be made.
Carysil is a leading manufacturer of composite quartz and granite kitchen sinks in India. The company exports granite sinks to more than 20 countries worldwide.
