Proving his mettle, Donald Trump is set to become President of the United States once again after historic victory. As the US President-elect Donald Trump, is set to take the charge in January 2025, he announced his plans to impose tariffs on China, Mexico, and Canada. Trump on November 25, said he would impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico until they clamped down on drugs and migrants crossing the border.To downplay the nightmare, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 29, visited Donald Trump’s Florida resort with a prime objective to negotiate in the matter. Trudeau, whose public itinerary did not list a scheduled visit to Florida, was seen leaving a hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida, to go to Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. Any hit to the Canadian economy would add to Trudeau's woes at a time when his popularity has sunk in part due to a slowing economy and a surge in the cost of living. Trudeau this week pledged to stay united against Trump's tariff threat and called a meeting with the premiers of all 10 Canadian provinces to discuss U.S. relations.
