JSW Steel inches up on reporting 12% rise in consolidated crude steel production in Q3FY24
JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 824.90, up by 2.75 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 822.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 825.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 831.75 and Rs. 823.40 respectively. So far 12974 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 895.60 on 28-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 649.75 on 16-Mar-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 868.15 and Rs. 821.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 201933.36 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.15% and 19.05% respectively.
JSW Steel has reported the crude steel production for the third quarter of FY24 (Q3FY24) at 6.87 million tonnes, that grew by 12% as against 6.14 million tonnes in Q3FY23 on consolidated basis. The company reported production of 6.63 million tonnes from Indian Operations in Q3FY24 over 6.06 million tonnes in Q3FY23, a growth of 9%.
