PNB Housing Finance jumps on reporting 25% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

PNB Housing Finance is currently trading at Rs. 795.80, up by 15.20 points or 1.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 780.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 794.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 802.55 and Rs. 787.05 respectively. So far 39389 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 913.95 on 25-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 598.05 on 02-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 802.55 and Rs. 741.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 20678.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.84% and 43.04% respectively.

PNB Housing Finance has reported 24.39% rise in net profit at Rs 438.71 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 352.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.24% at Rs 1,822.01 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 1,698.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 24.61% rise in its net profit at Rs 432.81 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 347.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.28% at Rs 1,832.08 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 1,707.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
