Ircon International surges on receiving work order worth Rs 1068.35 crore

Ircon International is currently trading at Rs 194.20, up by 3.40 points or 1.78% from its previous closing of Rs 190.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 194.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs 195.60 and Rs 192.50 respectively. So far 6926 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 351.65 on 15-Jul-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 134.30 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 196.50 and Rs 182.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 17945.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.96% and 28.87% respectively.

Ircon International has received work order from East Central Railway, Indian Railway for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for Construction of New BG Rail Bridge (2x32.086m Open Web Steel Girder + 33x122.0 m Open Web Steel Girder) with Sub-structure of Double line Track and Superstructure of Single line Track across River Ganga between Bikramshila and Katareah Stations on New Railway Line Project invited by East Central Railway

Broad consideration or size of the order(s)/contract(s) is Rs 1068.35 crore. The said order is expected to be completed in 1460 days.
