Coal India moves up on bagging LoA worth Rs 2831.11 crore
Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 436.50, up by 1.75 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 434.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 437.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 438.00 and Rs. 434.75 respectively. So far 98279 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 490.90 on 30-Apr-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 368.55 on 28-Aug-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 447.60 and Rs. 433.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 268694.96 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.23% and 5.63% respectively.
Coal India has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth around Rs 2831.11 crore from Bundelkhand Saur Urja. The LoA is for setting up of 600 MW (300 MW X 2) Solar Plant at Jalaun Solar Park UP at Rs 2.73/kWh. The order is to be executed within 18 months from signing of PPA.
